We have been organizing summer camps in the Carpathians for children affected by the war since 2015. Read more on how it was this year.
The main priority in the work of the "Initiative E+" is saving lives and helping to bring the victory of Ukraine in the war with the russian invaders closer. But we also have to think about the future, so we strive to take care of children, who should have positive memories from childhood.
So, since 2015, with the help of the Embassy of the Czech Republic, we started organizing summer camps for children from front-line towns and those of fallen and seriously wounded defenders of Ukraine.
And this time, our old good friends and partners from Chernovetskyi Investment Group provided funding for the camp for psychological rehabilitation and rest for children.
Thanks to this, 30 children were able to spend wonderful 2 weeks in the Carpathians. All days of rest were filled with unforgettable activities and bright impressions. Camp participants visited museums of embroidery and folk instruments, learned how to walk on a suspension bridge, "measured water" in Black Cheremosh, visited the legendary Written Stone – the place where the largest number of "points of power" appear on the surface of the Earth, climbed the highest peak of Ukraine – Mt. Hoverla, the height of which reaches 2061 meters. And these are just a few examples from the packed program of the camp!
Thanks to Chernovetskyi Investment Group, its participants were able to learn more about their country. It was a change that required special attention – children of dead, seriously wounded, missing soldiers. We cannot bring back their parents, but we do our best for the children of heroes! Thanks to our friends at Chernovetskyi Investment Group, who feel the pain of the suffering people with all their hearts and help us with this and many other initiatives. Together we will win!
