At the beginning of September, the "Initiative E+" team of drivers made a quick trip to Slovakia to receive 4 great ambulances from Rotary International Austria district 2232.
This help was provided thanks to Rotarians from Austria and the Kyiv Multinational Rotary Club.
After the meeting of our two incredible teams in Slovakia and receiving the cars, there was a race to Poland – through night, mountains and serpentines, processing customs documents and crossing the border.
Upon arrival in Kyiv, the vehicles underwent maintenance and final preparation for life-saving work on the front line.
And the transfer of cars to the places where they are most needed began right after. In addition to everything, we equipped each ambulance with sets for autonomous power supply from our Finnish friends Karavanen till Ukraina and Sisu Ukraine: ecoflow, solar panel, generator.
We thank our European friends and everyone who stands side by side with us in this struggle. Together we will win!
