Presidential awards "Golden Heart" were given on December 5 on the occasion of International Volunteer Day. This tradition was started last year.
The award is given "For a significant personal contribution to the provision of volunteer assistance and the development of the volunteer movement." The corresponding decree and the full list of nominees are posted on the website of the President of Ukraine.
This year, the Golden Heart was given to 39 volunteers, one of whom was awarded posthumously.
We thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other caring Ukrainians for being alive. We continue to work for Victory.
